A little pricey, but effective. Having these makes the light more flexible in it's coverage. I have enough for half my HotBoxes, which so far, is working well for me.
A solid piece of clear plastic with a pleasant curvy shape, with holes in it for the screws. 4 thumb screws come with it, and they screw directly into the face of the HotBox. Works as advertised. My only gripe would be I wish the screws were somehow permanently attached so that you couldn't lose them, but that is minor. A must have if you plan to point your RGBAW+UV fixtures directly at the crowd for a wash, especially for UV wash effects.
Douglas G: In this case, no. If this were a lens yes, but it's a diffusion panel. Similar to diffusion gel, but a long term solution.
Doyle K: What happens if you flip it over ? Will it narrow the beam of the hotbox ? I would like to be able to tighten up the beam of the hotbox just wondering if this would work?
