The Blizzard SnoKontrol is our universal DMX-512 lighting controller that's packed with features and built like a tank. I installed this in one of the clubs i did. It is a great, rugged dependable controller. Very easy to program. Came even with a little LED flex boom light which was nice. The end covers are removable to mount the board in a rack if you want. You can't go wrong with this solid controller for the price. Blizzard rocks.
It's done a good job the last year of usage, I've programmed and FCB1010 to function as a foot controller from stage to run lights for my band, in the dj setup i just use the desk as is, but have hit the limits of what it can do and am no looking more at a software solution.
Great Product and I would recomend this to anyone with a small set of lights to a large amont.<br /> Easy to program and great support from the Blizzard Guys! The Snokontrol is a really great unit!
My plan was to install this controller in a small club, and use it on a couple different fixtures. Upon receiving the product and testing it, I immediately boxed it up and sent it back. This Blizzard SnoKontrol is very very limited to what it can do. For the same money, Elation and others have a product that does 10 times what the SnowKontrol will do. The snowKontrol will not even let you do something as simple as program an RGB LED light chase, they make you program a scene and use the scene. All other controllers will let you directly program a simple LED chase without wasting scene memory, and limitations. Blizzard is a GREAT company, but this product has issues.
