DAS Action-M512A Description
The
DAS Action-M512A is engineered for flexibility on stage and in portable systems. It features a trapezoidal birch plywood enclosure and rotatable 80º x 50º horn, allowing it to function equally well as a floor monitor or a front-of-house PA speaker. The Action-500 series construction ensures a warm, tight sound with the durability needed for repeated transport and installation.
At its core is a 500W Class D amplifier (1000W peak) driving a 12MI4 woofer and M-34 compression driver. Together, these components deliver powerful, balanced output with a peak SPL of 130dB. The integrated DAScontrol™ DSP system provides access to EQ presets, delay, gain, and source mixing via a rear LCD interface for quick setup and customization.
Connectivity includes dual XLR inputs for mic and line, a 3.5mm AUX input for portable devices, and powerCON I/O for secure power chaining. The combination of high output, onboard DSP, and rugged design makes the Action-M512A a reliable solution for musicians, rental houses, and AV professionals.
