The DAS EVENT-28A delivers uncompromising sound in a compact footprint, featuring high-efficiency Class D amplification with a total of 1300W peak power (1000W LF / 300W HF). Its dual 8” neodymium woofers provide extended low-frequency response, while the M-60 HF driver ensures crystal-clear highs. With a consistent 100º horizontal dispersion and splay-dependent vertical coverage, this speaker is ideal for applications requiring precise sound field control.
Internally, a powerful 24-bit DSP manages crossover, EQ, delay, and limiting. The integration of FIR filtering ensures linear phase response and improves intelligibility across all listening zones. The DAScontrol™ interface on the rear panel allows users to quickly select presets depending on array size and configuration.
Built for real-world use, the rugged polypropylene housing incorporates the proprietary Fast Set Splay (FSS™) rigging system, enabling quick stacking or flying with adjustable angles.
