REALLY- REALLY Nice! High Quality and solid build. Nice and compact. I would say it is one of the best speakers in its price range after hearing a whole set of them, and that was at $550 each. Then you look at the price listed here... Really Sweet!<br /> <br /> Note: I had a problem with the lighting inside one of the speakers when delivered (manufacturer defect). It was replaced with overnight shipping. This is what also makes EV so great.
I am a mobile Dj and these have served me well for over a year. They sound very clean and never sound muffled. They do lack in bass and top end when I get excited at the end of gigs. These things are forever begging for mercy though. The "limit" or clipping warning on the LCD screen is easily activated. To it's defense though I have multiple times pushed the speaker pass the limit warning for extended times and they have shined thru every time. They are really good looking and are very presentable. Easy to carry and light. Great package for the price. You will nevertheless out grow the Db top end if you start doing bigger events.<br />
I've had these speakers for about a month and played 3 gigs with them. After receiving them I test them in the house, everything was good. At the first gig after I set up I noticed the light under the EV logo was out. They sounded great. Monday I called EV got transferred and transferred so I emailed them. By Wednesday there was a new speaker (replacement) at my door. I sent back the defected one. Played the second gig, sounded great everything was good. This pass weekend I played at a college event and these speaker was awesome. The bass that these push out was unbelievable.<br /> My next move is to get the EV sub to go with them.<br /> Great speaker at a great price.
Have been running these through my Rental shop for a full season. I have had no issues or complaints whatsoever. Durability seems good, I have utilized the covers and they still are in great shape. Sound is strong and consistent. We pitch these to small / medium size djs and venues. Also fulfills the needs of medium and larger room as PA systems with the pair. Now ordering my 3rd pair.
