The QSC K12.2 is a 12-inch, two-way powered PA speaker designed for DJs, musicians, live sound engineers, and professional audio installations. The QSC K12.2 combines powerful amplification, high-quality transducers, and sophisticated DSP in a versatile powered loudspeaker. Its 12-inch woofer delivers strong low-frequency performance, while the 1.4-inch titanium diaphragm compression driver provides detailed high-frequency reproduction. With a frequency response of 50Hz to 20kHz (-6dB) and a maximum rated SPL of 132dB, the speaker is well suited for mobile DJs, live bands, event production, and installed audio systems.
Advanced audio processing is a major advantage of the K12.2. QSC Intrinsic Correction technology optimizes loudspeaker performance, while Directivity Matched Transition (DMT) design helps produce uniform sound throughout the 75-degree coverage area. The built-in digital display provides access to factory presets for applications such as Live, Dance, and Monitor. Users can also adjust EQ, crossover, delay, and input settings, then save and recall configurations using the onboard Scenes feature.
The integrated input section provides flexible connectivity for microphones, mixers, instruments, and playback devices. Two locking XLR/1/4-inch combo inputs support selectable microphone/line and high-impedance/line operation, while a 3.5mm stereo input accommodates additional audio sources. Individual input level controls, dual XLR loop-through connections, and a dedicated XLR mix output make the speaker useful for both simple standalone setups and larger sound reinforcement systems.
Built for regular transport and demanding professional use, the K12.2 features an impact-resistant ABS enclosure, ergonomic handles, and a powder-coated steel grille with internal cloth lining. The cabinet can operate upright as a main PA speaker or horizontally as a floor monitor. Dual pole-mount sockets offer standard and 7.5-degree downward-tilt positioning, while integrated M10 attachment points support suspended installation using appropriate mounting hardware.
At just 39 lb. (17.7 kg), the K12.2 provides substantial output in a portable cabinet. They are fine speakers....but not for the money. We A/Bed them with the RCF 912As and the RCF's blew them away. It wasn't even close. The clarity from the 912As was far beyond what the QSC's could do. And power wise they were about the same. Given the price, I see no reason to go for these. We also A/Bed with the the Yamaha DXR12s and Yamaha also blew them away...for less money. RCF was the top of the 3, but both Yamaha and RCF were a big step above QSC!

This are the new & Improve K12.2 , sound louder cleaner, digital display, many settings, you can change them or add your own sound preferences. The only thing I am missing from the K12’s is deep mode setting.

Basically the a more refined version of the legacy k 12's. Definitely better Highs & more options in the digital presets as far as applications. I do think the originals have a tad bit more bass but I haven't been able to crank them up yet but at the low volume comparisons I did I think so. I was kind of apprehensive about the digital display but it has grown on me quickly. Can't wait to get these out of my apt. & on a gig!
Awesome speakers! Sound amazing top the KW181s. The number of input make them very flexible. Can't wait to take them out and crank them up.
Amazingly powerful speakers. We've ran JBL EON's the last few years and added these to our rental equipment business. The built in mic amp and various source throughput options are very helpful, and depending on the event, allow us to completely forgo a mixer. Clear sound at the highest volumes.
