I would highly recomend any Global Truss product. They are very solid and can take the abuse of being on the road. These base plates are great for half circle or arch displays I have found. They are coated in black and hide on stage. They are also just the right wieght so you don't have to worry about someone pushing you truss over. Also KPO offers the largest and best price selection of truss I could find anywhere online.
