ProX XT SLINGR09 Description

The ProX XT SLINGR09 uses galvanized aircraft cable wound in an endless configuration as its load-bearing member. This steel cable core is enclosed in a heavy black double-wall polyester jacket that protects the internal cable while remaining flexible and easy to position.

A wide inspection window is located beside the capacity tag and secured with a hook-and-loop closure. This opening provides access for visual inspection of the steel core, helping qualified riggers identify broken wires, corrosion, or other visible damage before the sling is placed into service.

The black cover and dark capacity tag make the sling well suited for applications where rigging should remain visually unobtrusive. Common uses include stage truss roofing systems, theatrical installations, concert productions, stage hoists, lighting equipment, and suspended line array speaker systems.

All overhead rigging must be performed by properly trained and licensed personnel. The marked working load limit must never be exceeded, including forces created by dynamic loading. Truss should be connected using approved rigging practices, preferably near a structural node and in a compression configuration when the system design permits.
