The
RCF KX 08-A is a compact powerhouse engineered for professional applications that require high SPL in a versatile and portable format. Its two-way point-source design features an 8” neodymium woofer and a neodymium compression driver with a rigid PKX dome, delivering articulate mids and crisp highs while maintaining exceptional durability.
At the heart of the system is a 2000W Class-D amplifier paired with advanced DSP including FiRPHASE and Bass Motion Control (BMC) processing. The result is a highly controlled, linear output that maintains fidelity at high volumes. Integrated RDNet control gives engineers real-time access to performance parameters, allowing remote monitoring of transducer status, temperature, limiter activity, and more.
The KX 08-A is built to handle the rigors of the road, with a robust Baltic birch plywood enclosure coated in weather-resistant polyurea, reinforced internally for mechanical stress, and equipped with rugged die-cast handles. A convection-cooled machined aluminum heat sink ensures silent, reliable operation even in extreme conditions.
