The RF Venue D-ARCD5 is a complete 5-channel wireless microphone upgrade pack designed to simplify antenna and RF distribution for installed and portable wireless systems. It combines the DISTRO5 HDR with a white Diversity Architectural Antenna, low-loss coaxial cabling, BNC interconnects, and DC power distribution components for a streamlined system covering up to five wireless microphone channels.
The RF Venue D-ARCD5 combines RF Venue's DISTRO5 HDR antenna distribution system with its white Diversity Architectural Antenna to create a compact solution for multi-channel wireless microphone installations. The system distributes clean, low-noise RF from a single diversity antenna system to as many as five wireless microphone receivers.
The Diversity Architectural Antenna uses a dual-feed design that provides both A and B diversity connections from one enclosure, eliminating the need to install two separately positioned antennas. Its slim white housing is designed for indoor wall or ceiling installation and can be painted to blend into conference rooms, houses of worship, schools, auditoriums, multipurpose spaces, and other finished interiors.
The DISTRO5 HDR handles antenna and power distribution from a compact half-rack footprint. Its high-dynamic-range RF architecture operates from 470–698 MHz, while the 12V DC output can provide up to 5A of power for compatible rack equipment. A 12V DC input also supports battery-powered operation where AC power is not practical.
RF signal quality also depends on the cabling between system components, so the bundle includes two 25-foot white low-loss antenna cables and ten 1.5-foot low-loss BNC interconnect cables. Together with the included DC-OCTOPUS-CABLE, the D-ARCD5 provides an integrated approach to RF distribution for live sound, installed AV, education, worship, corporate, and production environments.
