Sennheiser EW-DX EM 2 is a dual-channel digital wireless receiver designed for use with Sennheiser's EW-DX SK bodypack, SKM handheld, and TS tabletop transmitters. Housed in a durable, all-metal chassis, it is equally suited for portable rigs and permanent installations.
Engineered to ensure robust wireless performance, it leverages an expansive 87 MHz tuning range and advanced features such as intelligent switching diversity, auto-scan frequency setup, and equidistant frequency spacing to support a high channel count with minimal interference. Link Density mode allows up to 293 simultaneous channels—making it ideal for complex, large-scale installations.
For convenience and advanced control, the EW-DX EM 2 supports Bluetooth pairing and is fully compatible with the Smart Assist mobile app, Sennheiser Control Cockpit, and Wireless Systems Manager software. The front panel includes dual OLED screens, while the rear panel offers both XLR and 1/4" outputs for versatile connectivity. Detachable antennas can be upgraded or extended with optional accessories, and the system is fully backward-compatible with earlier EW-D components.
