The Shure SLXD2+/B87A combines an SLX-D+ digital wireless handheld transmitter with the Beta 87A supercardioid condenser microphone capsule for clear, detailed vocal reproduction. Designed for live performance, houses of worship, presentations, production companies, and other demanding wireless applications, it delivers transparent 24-bit digital audio while adding ShowLink® Ease remote transmitter management and a wide 138 MHz tuning range.
The Shure SLXD2+/B87A is built for applications that require both high-quality vocal reproduction and dependable digital wireless performance. Its Beta 87A microphone capsule uses a supercardioid polar pattern to focus on the performer while reducing pickup from surrounding sound sources. The condenser design delivers a smooth, detailed vocal response with a 50 Hz to 20 kHz capsule frequency range.
As part of the SLX-D+ platform, the transmitter provides transparent 24-bit digital audio with greater than 118 dB dynamic range. The G57 version operates across 470 to 608MHz, providing a 138 MHz tuning range for flexible frequency coordination in compatible regions.
ShowLink® Ease adds remote control capabilities that simplify wireless system management. From a linked SLX-D+ receiver, users can remotely change the transmitter frequency after identifying an open channel, adjust RF power output, lock or unlock transmitter controls, and perform transmitter firmware updates. Wireless Workbench desktop software and WWB Mobile provide additional system monitoring and control options.
The metal transmitter housing is suited for touring, installed sound, houses of worship, corporate events, and live performance environments. AES-256 encryption adds secure transmission, while power can be supplied by two AA batteries or an optional Shure SB903 lithium-ion rechargeable battery for up to 8 hours of operation.
