Wharfedale Pro WLA-12MA is a 12-inch active 2-way floor monitor designed for high-output stage monitoring, live sound reinforcement, and fixed installation applications. With Class D bi-amplification, DSP presets with FIR processing, rugged 15 mm birch plywood construction, and 90° x 60° coverage, it delivers clear, controlled monitoring for performers, engineers, and production teams.
The Wharfedale Pro WLA-12MA is part of Wharfedale Pro’s WLA-MA Series, built to bring DSP-controlled performance to demanding stage monitoring applications. Its 2-way design combines a 12-inch LF driver with a 1.75-inch HF compression driver, giving performers clear vocal detail, strong projection, and the dynamic headroom needed on active stages.
Internal Class D amplification provides 750W continuous power and 1500W peak power, delivering strong output while maintaining efficient operation. With a maximum SPL of 131dB at 1 meter and a frequency response of 55Hz - 20kHz, the WLA-12MA is suitable for vocal monitoring, instrument monitoring, DJ booth monitoring, compact FOH use, and stage-fill applications.
The onboard DSP includes 8 selectable FIR presets, allowing the speaker to adapt to wedge, high-pass filtered wedge, coupled monitor, FOH, and custom uses. Ethernet control allows remote adjustment and system monitoring through a single network cable, helping engineers manage stage systems more efficiently.
Built from 15 mm birch plywood with a steel grille and black paint finish, the Wharfedale Pro WLA-12MA is designed for professional touring and installation environments. M10 rigging points, a 35 mm pole mount, and ground or pole deployment options make it flexible enough for stage monitoring, front-fill, side-fill, and compact PA applications.
