The Coin 2.0 is essentially the Can 2.0 but without the battery. This reduces the size and the price. And, if you decide you need to go battery-powered, simply plug it into a USB battery bank and go fully wireless. Whether you're doing uplighting, downlighting, dance floor lighting, pinspotting, or truss warming, this tiny light fixture is perfect for permanent installs or mobile events and can be hidden anywhere.
The renowned Ape Labs MusikMode stands unrivaled in the industry. With zero programming required, a single button press effortlessly synchronizes all Ape Labs products in the room (regardless of SKU) to collaborate and create a constantly evolving light show perfectly timed to the music. This isn't the typical "sound active" mode you've seen before; it's a genuine light show that would challenge even a professional lighting designer to replicate through DMX programming.
Not a fan of DMX? No problem. While all Ape Labs lights come equipped with wireless DMX receivers, most users prefer controlling them with the intuitive iOS/Android app or RF remote. These control options allow for easy grouping, where multiple lights (regardless of SKU and with no limit on quantity) can be set to one of four groups. You can change colors, adjust brightness, set programs, tweak speed or strobe settings, and more—all without affecting lights in other groups. Additionally, you can control multiple groups simultaneously. With the app, you can create scenes that allow all groups to be independently set with just the press of a button. (To use app, 'Connect' is required and is sold separately.)
The Ape Labs Coin 2.0 is a compact yet powerful fixture designed to meet a wide range of lighting needs. It is designed to be your tiny but mighty workhorse. With its AmberWhite LED technology, it can reproduce color that was never possible before. With 29 built-in color presets designed specifically for the event industry by American industry professionals, the Coin 2.0 allows the user to create incredible lighting designs with just the push of a button. Crafted in Germany with a careful balance of totally reengineered optics merged with the warmth of the AmberWhite LED technology, the Coin 2.0 is an incredibly flexible fixture, excellent for traditional uplighting, unique Fresnel effect uplighting, ambient lighting, dance floor lighting, stage lighting, design washes, table lighting, pinspotting, room washing, tube effects, and beyond.
Compatible accessories include the Swivel Ball Adapter (for mounting anywhere in any direction), wash optics (available in 10, 15, 25 or 45 degrees), Pinspot Adapter (5 degrees), UniStand (perfect when using as pinspot or dancefloor light), Dome Lens (for super-wide wash or eye-candy effects), Table Tube Adapter (for short tube effect lighting), Coin Tube (for 1 or 2 meter tube effect lighting), and many more. Possibilities are endless with the Ape Labs Coin 2.0.
When comparing Ape Labs LUX values to competitor values, make sure to look at single color ratings. If only a single LUX value is given for a fixture, it's most likely an "All On" rating. This means that every color is combined when rating.

Ape Labs lights are sold in three popular forms:
"SOLO": Only the light itself, without the remote or power supply. Additional accessories are required to use your light. ApeRemote and/or Connect can control an unlimited number of Ape Labs SKUs and are compatible with every product. USB power supply or USB battery bank is required to power fixture.
"SETS" (such as a "Set of 2" or "Set of 4"): Include the universal remote and enough power supplies for all of the lights in the set.
"PACKS" (such as a "RoadPack" or "TourBox"): Include the universal remote, a case or bag, and a way to power all fixtures.
