Chauvet SlimPAR Quad 12 IRC (Chauvet Slim Par Quad 12 IRC)
SlimPARâ„¢ Quad 12 IRC is a low profile, high-power LED PAR designed for any application where wash lights are needed. Twelve quad-color (RGBA) LEDs make this the perfect front light by eliminating multi-color shadows and providing a smooth, even output. The addition of the IRC (Infrared Remote Control) allows simple operation and eliminates the hassle of programming. With a 100% convection cooling system, there is no fan noise to distract the audience.

I have 4 of these lights they are very bright and easy to use They are somewhat heavy but have a good solid feel to them I use the irc remote to use the lights. I run 1 light with 3 slave units these are my favorite wash lights. I think the extra cost is worth it compared to the rbg model
Using these lights in a small theater and really like them for several reasons: 1. Convection cooling so no fan noise. 2. Very Bright 3. RGBA so you can use the Amber LED's to create colors closer to traditional gels. 4. They come with a gel frame so you can use a diffusion gel to spread the light pattern if needed. 5. Standard Edison electric socket on each light so you can daisy chain the power from light to light eliminating a surge strip. 6. All metal build, seems to be a quality fixture. I can see these lights being very useful for high school theaters who are looking for LED washes but cannot afford the more expensive professional fixtures.
