I bought this as a secondary pole for my base to hang additional fixtures. Super study and heavy duty. One thing to watch out for, the plastic stopper on the bottom of the pole can come loose and get lodged into the bottom half of the telescoping pole which can jam up the system and is very hard to fish out. Overall solid product that holds up to medium fixtures. I've also mounted a 50 inch tv with the gravity tv mount and it works excellent. Consider, however, mounting your pole in the rear input for heavier items like tvs or front leaning lighting to give that extra support.
