The RCF SUB 15-AX is a strong option if you want a compact 15-inch powered subwoofer that still has real impact. The 15” woofer with a 3” voice coil gives it a solid punch for its size, and the 2200-watt power rating gives it enough headroom for mobile DJs, live sound setups, corporate events, and compact PA systems. What I like about the RCF SUB 15-AX is that it is not just a basic “plug it in and hope it matches” sub. The onboard color touch panel makes setup much easier, especially if you are adjusting settings quickly at an event. The crossover presets are especially useful when pairing it with different RCF tops, since they help take some guesswork out of system tuning. The 35 Hz–120 Hz frequency response gives the SUB 15-AX usable low-end extension while keeping the response focused for music playback and live sound reinforcement. RCF’s Bass Motion Control is also a nice feature because it helps manage woofer movement, which can improve control and consistency at higher output levels. Another advantage is the liveRemote app, which allows wireless control over EQ, delay, and crossover settings. For event production, that can save time during setup and make small adjustments easier from the listening position. For anyone already using RCF speakers, the RCF SUB 15-AX makes a lot of sense. It is compact compared to larger 18-inch subs, but still hits harder than many people expect from a 15-inch box.
Amazing sub! Great build quality and output. The app is extremely convenient, but more importantly the built in presets for most rcf speakers has made dialing it in a breeze. Have used it at 2 events in medium sized venues (about 150 and 175 guests) and the sound was incredible, with plenty of head room should I have needed it. Looking to purchase this combo in white next!
