Yamaha’s built-in D-XSUB processing allows users to shape the bass response for different applications, with NORMAL mode providing the recommended balance and XTENDED LF mode extending the low-frequency response down to 35 Hz for deeper bass performance when needed.

The enclosure is built from durable plywood and finished in a rugged polyurea coating for long-term reliability in transport, setup, and everyday use. Its acoustically optimized cabinet structure helps maintain consistent bass performance, while the large ports and grille design reduce airflow noise at higher output levels. Dual side handles, optional SPW-1 wheels, and the optional SPCVR-DXS153 cover make the subwoofer easier to move and protect between gigs.
