ADJ Protégé XS Description
The
ADJ Protégé XS redefines what’s possible from a small-format moving head. Powered by a 250W white LED with an 8500K color temperature, this fixture outputs up to 9,800 lumens of crisp, vibrant light. Its motorized zoom range of 4.8°–38° supports tight aerial beams, focused projections, or wide washes—making it a go-to solution for flexible lighting environments.
Color creativity is a strong suit, with two 8-color wheels offering a variety of rich hues, including quad-color effects, UV, CTO (3200K), and CTB (9000K) filters. The Protégé XS also features a rotating GOBO wheel with seven interchangeable glass patterns and a static wheel with 11 aluminum gobos, including beam reducers for narrow projections.
Layered effects are easily achieved using the overlay-capable dual prisms—6-facet circular and 6-facet linear—alongside a heavy frost filter and expressive animation wheel. The fixture’s motorized focus ensures sharp imaging across its entire zoom range.
Control is just as advanced. It supports both wired 5-pin DMX and wireless Aria X2 for DMX + remote fixture management, with NFC setup capabilities for fast configuration. With 360° continuous pan, pan/tilt locks, and smooth 3-phase motor movement, the XS is made for real-world production and rapid deployment.
