American DJ WiFly Par QA5 (ADJ Wi Fly Par Q5A)
(ALSO AVAILABLE WITH WHITE CASING, WiFLY Par QA5 Wh) The ADJ WiFLY Par QA5 is a rechargeable lithium battery powered compact Wash Fixture with ADJ’s WiFLY Transceiver with wireless DMX built-in. It offers the power of 5x 5-Watt RGBA Quad LEDs (Red, Green, Blue & Amber) to create rich hues and smooth color mixing for stage or wall washing, plus the freedom to set up your fixture wherever you wish without the restrictions of power or DMX cabling. The built-in battery will keep a charge for up to 6 hours (full on) from a full, single charge. WiFLY’s Transceiver will communicate up to 400 feet (open line of sight).
The American DJ WiFly Par QA5 uses LEDs rated at 50,000 hours with a maximum power draw of 55W. DMX addressing may also be changed by the unit’s 4-button LED display, or controlled by a DMX Controller by DMX cabling or via ADJ’s stand alone WiFLY Transceiver, or the ADJ RFC wireless remote control (both sold separately). These are great battery pars. Battery lasts a long time and they are built very well. I don't always use the wifly part, but its nice to have.
I can't wait to the wedding season! Got 2 of these bad boys already, planning for 3 more! This is a great addition & upsale for your clients & look great behind your Speaker Scrims as well. I was overwhelmed with the set-up with these at first but with a little bit of reading the manual & help from youtube (Thanks Brian S. Redd) I'm off and running. The amber is popping! These lights are so multifunctional it's crazy and I love em!
I own about 20 of these units. Average battery life is roughly 7-8 hours from full charge. They provide a very good throw tested outside on my building upwards of 20-30 feet. Colors blend smoothly. DMX functions work great. 5-watt leds are currently strong in this price range, especially with wifly inside each unit. I think they are a great value in the current market. I have had issues on two units with the front panel buttons where a single button will dislodge and need repair.
very sturdy build<br /> strong macro options and glad theres amber<br /> really enjoy these lights on dmx 8 channel<br /> a bit tricky but worth digging deep.<br /> theres a slew of values caveats on 8 channel so practice <br /> with my wifly ne1 its a lot of pressure relief from uplighting and keeping it from being a chore or boring when the focus is on the floor <br /> really good investment for a mobile setup.<br /> wish the ip versions were more affordable
