The Ape Labs Coin 2.5 builds on the Coin 2+ platform with two important updates for easier setup and long-term reliability. Instead of the short USB-A pigtail used on the Coin 2+, the new Ape Labs Coin 2.5 features an integrated USB-C port and includes a 6 ft USB-C cable in the box.
This USB-C design makes the Coin 2.5 more flexible for a wide variety of setups. Users can power the fixture with the included cable or use another standard USB-C cable when a different cable length is needed for a clean installation, event setup, or battery bank configuration.

This is not the typical "sound active" mode found on basic fixtures—it is a true automated light show designed for DJs, event pros, venues, and production companies that want fast results without complex programming.
Not a fan of DMX? No problem. Ape Labs lights include wireless control options, but most users prefer the intuitive iOS/Android app or RF remote. These control methods allow easy grouping, where multiple lights can be assigned to one of four groups. You can change colors, adjust brightness, set programs, tweak speed or strobe effects, and more without affecting other groups. With the app, you can also create scenes where each group operates independently at the push of a button. To use the app, Ape Labs Connect is required and sold separately.

I use these for my facade. At first, I used Cans so I didn't have to deal with any power cables at all, but I love that they are so close to the ground. I use the big USB hub from Ape Labs and plug all my coins into one USB bank and plug the bank in next to my controller. It's easy and because they are so low to the ground, I slide them in front of my facade panels instead of behind them. That way they are brighter and add light to the dancefloor. I love Musik Mode on my facade!!

These Ape Coins are such a life saver. Friendly to the wallet as well. I get so many compliments on the color saturation of them. I purchased 4 to highlight my DJ set up and cant be happier.
