Behringer P16-D Description

The Behringer P16-D makes it easy to expand a P16 personal monitoring system for live performance, recording, rehearsal, and worship applications. When connected to a compatible ULTRANET source, it distributes 16 channels of digital audio to multiple P16-M personal mixers while also supplying operating power through the same cable.

This streamlined design helps reduce setup time and stage clutter by removing the need for individual power adapters at each connected mixer. Performers can build their own monitor mixes with direct control over volume, pan, solo, and mute for up to 16 input signals, giving them the “more me” control they need without pulling attention away from the front-of-house mix.

ULTRANET digital networking is designed for fast, reliable signal distribution between compatible mixers, stage boxes, powered loudspeakers, and personal monitoring systems. Compared with traditional analog methods, the digital CAT5e connection helps avoid radio frequency interference, eliminates signal crosstalk, and simplifies installation.

Built for flexible deployment, the P16-D includes status LED indicators for its RJ-45 input and all eight RJ-45 outputs, along with an internal auto-ranging power supply for worldwide operation. A single P16-D can extend a smaller personal monitoring system, while multiple units can be combined for larger setups with up to 48 P16-M personal mixers.
