So I bought 4 of these right off the bat. From the video alone I knew they would be a hit. Every person that has seen what they look like, and what they do, has had that "wow" expression on their face.

Even DJs who look at lights all the time went nuts when I posted a video of the lights I bought on DJIS.

I love all of the effects, and the possibilities that can be achieved with the lighting effects these lights can create.

There is a simple 8 channel mode where you have RGB control for the whole fixture (plus auto program, strobe, etc.), or switch to 35 channel mode which breaks the light down into 10 segments for RGB control (plus the auto program, strobe control, etc.), or put it into 480 channel mode to control every RGB channel of every LED in the fixture.

So far I've been working with the 8 & 35 channel modes, and just the capabilities there are numerous. I'm currently building the profile in my DMX software to use this light in 480 channel mode (lots of repetitive key entry), and it will be nuts to see what patterns can be created.

Buying a few of these for your rig will certainly look amazing, and as you expand in your light show capabilities these can grow with you. Very cool fixture.

Bought 2. Nice fixtures, real wow factor.

35 channel mode for me which knocked my setup into a 2nd universe... but he, go big or go home, right?

ok, so I was impressed enough with the 1st 2 that I got 2 more... for anyone wondering about control... I spent the weekend messing with these in 480 channel mode. did it 3 ways:

1 - 480 channel DMX mode from Sunlite Suite 2 meh... considering that each fixture will take up almost a full universe and I am limited to 3, as well as the load this places on the software, it's not feasible for me...

2) Artnet... better, but still sucking up the Universes... one thing I didn't get at first is that the fixtures are Artnet compatible to begin with so I didn't have to use Sunlite and the interface to get access to the fixture... Eventually got it working with Madrix but still bumping up against the cost of Madrix Entry or Basic to control them.. Why on earth do they charge so much for this stuff?????

3) Kling-net... viola... took longer to download Arkaos LEDMaster software than it did to set up the fixtures to work with it... fantastic and the route I am taking with them... I wish Blizzard had a 1x40 led version of this fixture like Chauvet does.... they go together pretty well from what I've seen..
