Carvin Audio TRx3118A is a high-output 18-inch active subwoofer engineered to deliver deep, controlled low-frequency performance in demanding live sound environments. Extending down to 37Hz, it provides tight transient response and consistent output at high SPL, making it ideal for standalone subwoofer applications or as the low-frequency foundation of TRC Column Array systems.
The Carvin Audio TRx3118A combines high-efficiency Class D amplification, advanced DSP processing, and a precision-tuned bass reflex enclosure to deliver authoritative low-end reinforcement. Its 18” TS18C high-excursion woofer features a 4” (100mm) voice coil, ensuring powerful output and consistent performance even under heavy program material.
With 2000W of total program power—1000W dedicated to the internal subwoofer and 1000W available for HF satellite output—the TRx3118A eliminates the need for external amplifiers or additional processing. Everything required for system deployment is built directly into the cabinet, allowing for fast setup and predictable performance in touring and installation environments.
An integrated Analog Devices™ 56-bit DSP processor provides precision crossover alignment, system protection, and tonal optimization. Selectable presets for Live Performance, DJ/Playback, Speech, and Sub-Only operation allow the system to adapt to various applications while maintaining clarity and impact.
Constructed from premium multi-ply hardwood and finished in durable Black DuraTec™, the TRx3118A is built for professional reliability. A black powder-coated 16-gauge steel grille with acoustic cloth backing protects the driver, while recessed handles and a standard 1.38-inch pole mount cup simplify transport and system integration.
