Amazing fixture. I bought 3 and paired them with 4 ADJ Eco UV Plus and was able to light a convention sized dance floor very effectively. The throw is very long, and wide. The 33 degree beam angle makes a difference, and covers a large area. The yare super bright, so plan on cranking them well above eye-level. The build quality is excellent too, though be aware they are larger than you may expect. About the size of a motorcycle helmet.
Great light. I have two of these lights and they provide true ultra violet lighting. Most led lights don't have true uv property and a lot of items florescent property are not used to their fullest potential. I highly recomend these lights. Great ultra vilot lighting without the heat that traditional bulbs produce.
I have 2 of the eco UV bars and purchased 1 cob cannon and can not say enough about how impressed I am with it! The light is truly amazing and even in daylight will give things a nice pop. I am going to have to pick up 2 more of these now as they truly are amazing! If you are looking for black lights you cant go wrong with these!
Just order two more of the UV Cob Cannon. I can't say enough about these light. Very bright and amazing coverage of any large rooms. Bought these in tandem with Eco UV Bar Plus IR. This unit has a very strong throw and is slightly larger than one may expect who is familiar with and anticipates something similar to LED Par fixtures. In my experience these new LED Ultraviolet projections have alot more light in the visible spectrum than old school tube blacklights. They put off such wide coverage and throw and will brighten the area within the throw. I think the tradeoff is just fine if still wanting to keep a dimlit atmosphere with the increase in performance. Two of these units will easily cover all of a 20' x 20' area. DMX controls are nice and provide a great way to strobe or fade on command. <br /> <br /> Compared to the Eco bar mentioned above you get a slightly more narrow throw yet much more power and options. If you are looking for something simple for low end events get the eco bars. If you are looking for something more professional and can spare the extra cost go with these units. The price per performance gain is right on par.
These lights are fantastic! The price is great and the output is huge! The key I have found to them is get them up nice and high and the effect blows away almost every other black light. These are for sure the best LED option out there. I highly recommend them!
We spent the last year researching dedicated UV lighting and were not confident that many of the options available would provide the results we were looking for. After reading all 6 reviews here, I was very confident that I was making a low risk decision however after buying two UV cannons and using them for two gigs this past weekend, I cannot believe the output and quality of these lights. As some background, we own four Blizzard LB HEX Pars and four ADJ HEX Bars which were impressive. We still wanted a bigger "WOW" factor and decided to take our UV game to the next level. I'm quite confident we took it up several levels indeed. The throw, brilliance, build quality and dispersion of these ADJ COB UV Cannon's are nothing short of incredible. Best pricing from KPODJ.com is always appreciated as well as is the free shipping. Highly recommend these as the best UV lighting on the market today for the price.
Powerful lights. In January 2017, I did a "rave" for a local high school. They wanted a black light event, but I didn't have any UV, so I suggested they rent lights. They ended up with four ADJ COB UV lights from the rental company. <br /> <br /> The room was a youth group room, with high ceilings. They put two lights on stands provided by the youth group, and two on my truss. The light was very bright, and really made the decorations fluoresce. <br /> <br /> After seeing the lights in action, I decided to purchase two, as I booked a black light party for August 26, 2017. KPO DJ had the best pricing, and always has great service, so I bought them here. I purchased them in June, so I had time in case they were damaged in shipping or something.<br /> <br /> I used two on a tripod stand for the Sweet 16. The clients, guests, and birthday girl were all very happy with the light output. Amazing light fixtures!! Their throw and coverage area is just overly impressive. Used 3 of these to light up and entire gymnasisum! They are a little larger than expected and 10 pounds but you get what you pay for here!
Great output, major reliability issues. Power supplies are terrible and have a design flaw and short out. Out of 75 lights we've replaced the power supplies on half of them. LED's randomly lose part of the chip on a few lights. Menu's will just shut off sporadically and require a new board.
