The RCF HDL 12AS is a compact, high-power active subwoofer designed for flown and ground-stacked sound reinforcement systems. Built to pair seamlessly with HDL 6A line array modules, it delivers tight, controlled low-frequency performance in a highly portable and rigging-ready enclosure.
The RCF HDL 12AS is engineered as the ideal low-frequency extension for HDL 6A line array systems, offering powerful bass in a compact and flyable design. Its 12-inch woofer with a 3.0” voice coil delivers precise and punchy low-end response, making it suitable for both live sound reinforcement and installed applications.
Powered by a 1400W peak (700W RMS) Class-D amplifier, the HDL 12AS achieves a maximum SPL of 131 dB while maintaining clarity and efficiency. The built-in DSP provides a stereo crossover with selectable crossover frequencies, allowing seamless integration with full-range systems or satellite speakers. Additional controls such as EQ, phase adjustment, and polarity reverse offer flexibility for system tuning.
The enclosure is constructed from durable Baltic birch plywood and finished with a heavy-duty steel grille and protective acoustic foam backing.
