The RF Venue 2-CHANNEL KIT 470T530 is a complete remote antenna kit for two diversity wireless microphone receivers operating from 470–530 MHz. It moves receive antennas away from the rear of a rack or equipment enclosure and places them where they can achieve better line-of-sight reception, making it well suited to classrooms, A/V carts, corporate meeting rooms, and other small wireless microphone installations.
The RF Venue 2-CHANNEL KIT 470T530 provides the antenna hardware and RF distribution components needed to share one diversity antenna pair between two compatible wireless microphone receivers. The two half-wave antennas cover 470–530 MHz and can be positioned away from equipment that may block or degrade incoming RF signals.
For portable racks and A/V carts, the included BNC pass-through adapters allow the antennas to be relocated from the rear of the wireless receivers to a front rack panel. For fixed installations, the supplied wall brackets allow the antennas to be positioned outside an equipment closet or closer to the performance or presentation area. RF Venue recommends positioning the antennas in line of sight with transmitters when possible.
Two passive 2X1SPLIT units handle diversity distribution. One splitter distributes the Antenna A signal to the A inputs of both receivers, while the second distributes Antenna B to both receiver B inputs. Each splitter uses 50-ohm BNC connections and operates across a broad 10–1000 MHz RF range, making the distribution hardware suitable for professional wireless audio applications.
With antennas, splitters, mounting hardware, pass-through adapters, and all six required short coaxial interconnects included, the kit provides a straightforward way to improve antenna placement for small two-channel wireless microphone systems without adding an active antenna distribution amplifier.
