The RF Venue 2 CHANNEL KIT 500T570 is a complete remote antenna solution for smaller wireless microphone systems operating in the 500-570 MHz frequency range. By moving receive antennas to the front of an equipment rack or remotely positioning them outside an equipment closet, the kit helps provide better antenna placement and more reliable wireless reception.
The RF Venue 2 CHANNEL KIT 500T570 provides the antenna hardware needed to improve antenna positioning for two-channel wireless microphone installations. The included pair of 1/2-wave antennas can be installed at the front of an equipment rack with the supplied BNC pass-through adapters or positioned remotely with the included wall brackets.
Two included 2-way splitters distribute the signals from the antenna pair to two wireless microphone receivers. Six 24-inch BNC interconnect cables are supplied to connect the antennas, splitters, and compatible receivers with removable BNC antennas.
Remote antenna placement can be especially useful when wireless receivers are installed inside racks, equipment closets, or A/V carts where the receiver antennas would otherwise have limited placement options. Moving the antennas into a more favorable position can help improve RF signal reception and reduce problems caused by obstructed antenna locations.
