The
Yamaha HS5 delivers the trusted accuracy of the HS Series in a compact footprint, offering the same clarity and flat frequency response trusted by professionals worldwide. Powered by 70 watts of bi-amplified output (45W LF / 25W HF), the HS5 ensures a balanced sound profile, ideal for nearfield mixing and reference monitoring.
Its 5" woofer and 1" dome tweeter reproduce frequencies from 54Hz to 30kHz, with a smooth transition across the 2kHz crossover point. The MDF enclosure is built using a three-way mitered-joint design to reduce resonance and improve rigidity, while Yamaha’s proprietary port design minimizes noise caused by airflow.
Integrated Room Control and High Trim switches allow you to tailor the response of the monitor to your studio space—perfect for tight setups or wall-mounted installations where bass buildup is common.
Connectivity is professional and versatile, with both balanced XLR and 1/4" TRS inputs that accept line-level signals from interfaces, mixers, and audio gear.
