The Black Lion PG-2 is built for users who need a more advanced rack power solution than a basic outlet strip. Its 2U rackmount design provides filtered power distribution, surge suppression, fixed power sequencing, and power status monitoring for sensitive audio, DJ, and production equipment.

The rear panel includes 12 switched, filtered, and surge-protected outlets divided into four groups: Digital Audio x2, Analog Audio, and High Current. This grouped layout helps separate different types of gear within a rack, while the sequencing delay is designed to power connected speakers and amplifiers on last and off first to help prevent turn-on and shut-down pops.

Black Lion’s PG-99 filtering technology is designed to reduce high-frequency noise that can affect the performance of connected audio equipment. Built using premium Panasonic and Wima capacitors, the filtering system supports cleaner operation for interfaces, converters, preamps, processors, mixers, wireless systems, DJ gear, power amplifiers, and powered speakers.
