The RF Venue D-OMNID9 is a complete 9-channel wireless microphone RF distribution bundle combining the DISTRO9 HDR with a Diversity Omni Antenna, premium low-loss coaxial cabling, and DC receiver power distribution. Its 360-degree polarization-diversity antenna and dual-zone distribution architecture make it especially useful for multi-room systems, centrally positioned antennas, large venues, and outdoor wireless microphone applications.
The RF Venue D-OMNID9 combines RF Venue's Diversity Omni antenna technology with the DISTRO9 HDR antenna distribution platform for wireless microphone systems with up to nine diversity receivers. The Diversity Omni contains both a vertical monopole and horizontal folded-loop antenna element, providing separate A and B diversity feeds while receiving both vertically and horizontally polarized RF signals.
Both antenna elements provide 360-degree azimuth coverage, making the Diversity Omni particularly useful when microphones move around a centrally positioned antenna. This makes the system well suited to multi-zone facilities, sports venues, theme parks, amphitheaters, event spaces, and other applications where wide-area omnidirectional coverage is preferred. RF Venue specifies a typical range of up to approximately 100 feet from the center, with actual performance dependent on the RF environment and installation conditions.
The DISTRO9 HDR provides nine diversity RF output pairs and two diversity antenna input zones in a single rack-space chassis. Its wide 50–1000 MHz operating range and high-dynamic-range RF architecture provide flexible distribution for professional wireless microphone systems. The second antenna zone can be used to extend coverage into another room or area, while unity-gain outputs allow additional DISTRO9 HDR units to be cascaded when more wireless channels are required.
Power distribution is also integrated into the system. The DISTRO9 HDR provides 12V DC over coax for compatible active RF devices and a separate 12V DC, 5A output for compatible wireless microphone receivers. Two 25-foot RG8X antenna cables, 1.5-foot and 2-foot BNC interconnect cable packs, and the DC-OCTO power distribution kit complete the bundle for an organized multi-channel wireless installation.
