The RCF 315A is a professional powered speaker with a digital amplifier. They are not the lightest speakers out there, weighing in at 44lbs and their price point is higher than some speakers in this category. RCF is a transducer manufacturer (that is the 15” “round thing” in the speaker cabinet) because of that they can design the transducer specifically for the cabinet. This allows them to tailor the crossover frequencies between the woofer and tweeter and the the port (the hole in the cabinet) and the woofer. The result is a much better clarity of sound throughout the frequency spectrum. Having a digital amp keeps the weight down allowing the woofer to have a larger magnet needed for the extended bass response. the input section covers all bases with XLR (switchable line/Mic level) ¼”, EQ loudness or flat switch. Pro’s: Great sound with no distortion, Great input section Cons: Price is high,
